To instil a sense of appreciation in our students for what they have and not focus on only what they don't, our Management organised a Gratitude day in the month of August. Mr Jith Veeravalli and Chitra from the US inaugurated the gratitude day function. A skit and a song by the students was part of the inaugural function
Special sessions were conducted for the 10th to 12th std students on value and importance of Gratitude.
All the students made posters on people and things they are grateful for in life. - nature, God, Parents, other relatives, teachers, friends, head master and management. The best poster was given a prize in each class. . Their enthusiasm and appreciation were themselves apt rewards for the Management.
The parents of our students sent in notes of their appreciation to the management, about what makes our school stand apart from the rest. Six pots were kept at vantage points. The students lost no time in filling the pots to the brim with their gratitude lists

The teachers of English dept organize a Project day each year to enhance and bring out the beauty of English language. This year the theme Eureka which covered a wide range of topics like Phonetics, book reviews, origin of alphabets, captioning of stories and doodling of comic strips and stories. It was inaugurated by Ms. Radhika Srinivasan.

The school conducted 4 innovative competitions- face painting, vegetable painting, pencil drawing and thumb painting. 100 students participated

The annual day celebrations was held at GR Auditorium on the 7 th Jan 2019. Ms Indhumathy Writer was the chief guest. She addressed the students at the assembly and handed over certificates to students for 100 % attendance. She was the chief guest at the evening function and handed over proficiency prizes. This was followed by a variety entertainment.
Matru Pooja is conducted every year during Navaratri. The students offer prayers to their mothers on this occasion.
