The school has a well equipped laboratory and the students are trained to do science experiments individually

The school has a well stocked library.

The school has a computer center. XI and XII students are provided computer education. Our school was the first rural school to introduce computer education in the year 1990. Swami Dayananda Saraswati contributed towards the establishment of the centre.

The school offers a vocational course of basic electronic engineering for the higher secondary classes.

Roughly around 60 students are learning Music, under renowned musician Bombay Jayashri's disciples.

Students from around 65 villages are making use of this school in the radius of 25 Kms. Some of the villages are Tippanampetai, Pudukudi, Neikuppai, Simizhi, Semmangudi, Perumpannaiyur, Kattur, Kodavasal, Thirukkannamangai, Vadakandam, Pavithramanickam, Thiruvarur, Mulangudi, Thirucherai, Vanduvancheri, Nachiyarkoil, Sellur, Adavangudi, Palur, Vembanoor, Vadaver, Annavasal.

  • Ours is a co-education school. Since good discipline is our priority, the villagers feel secure and safe to send their girl children to this school.
  • Ours is a school where we do not collect any fees/donation of any kind from the students.
Meaningful pursuits for mind and body
  • We organise hand writing workshop for students of 6th to 8th standard for 5 days each year.
  • Our school children are taught yogasanas from 6th standard onwards.
  • All the girls are taught classical music. Both boys and girls are taught arts and crafts.
Encouraging innovation and creativity
  • Science exhibition is conducted with a specific theme every year with the participation of a large number of students.
  • Under the guidance of the teachers, more than 500 science experiments are conducted.
  • Each year, we have one major topic for the science exhibitions. Some of the topics are Neutrino, Water scarcity in South Africa, A video on verses of Manikavasagar and modern science and Hydro carbon issues. Mr.T.T.Jagannathan Chairman TTK Prestige inaugurated the Science project.

Obtained permission to start English Medium section from 1 st to 10 th standards
  • Our school has obtained permission from the Education dept of Tamilnadu to initiate one English Medium section from 1st to 10 th stds effective 2019. The permission is permanent in nature, We have already commissioned an English Medium section in first, sixth and seventh standards
